  • How does MedsNow work?
    • MedsNow is a technology platform that connects independent pharmacies and their customers through a digital platform. providing payments, prescription delivery request, and communication tool.
  • Is MedsNow a pharmacy?
    • No, we are not a pharmacy. Our mission is to equip independent pharmacies with the technology to remain competitive in the pharmaceutical industry and for our customers to receive exemplary services whenever and wherever they need them.
  • Is MedsNow free?
    • Our platform is completely free and the delivery service is free same-day. Your purchase will be invoiced by the pharmacy and collected through our service
  • Is MedsNow secure?
    • Yes, MedsNow is a secure platform where no medical information is stored or collected. We provide the means of communication between you and your pharmacist. Your pharmacist is also under oath (yes an actual, legal binding oath) to not disclose any medical information.
  • Do you have a MedsNow app available?
    • We will very soon. Our team is currently working on an app to make the process even easier. Please subscribe on our webpage to receive news about our upcoming new features and services.
  • How do I pay for my meds?
    • Payment is very simple and here are a couple notes to help you understand the process:
      • MedsNow does not currently collect billing information, thus, when you place your first order, your pharmacist will call to confirm your payment information. At this point, you can ask them to save your payment information in their system for future purchases to make the process faster next time.
      • If you can’t take the call, that’s ok your order will still be processed and  you can call back at your earliest convenience to confirm payment information.
  • What do I need to know?
    • Our partner pharmacy delivers between 8:00am - 6:00pm from Monday to Saturday. However, if you like to place an order outside of the hours of operation you can still do so, and the order will be deferred to next day delivery.   
    • We currently deliver only in Manhattan so we apologize if we can’t reach you just yet!
    • We’d like to remind you that we do deliver to your home or office so if you work in the city we can definitely reach you.  
    • MedsNow does not save billing information. If you can't take a call from your pharmacist when you place your first order, no worries! Your order will still go through, and you can call back later!
  • Do I need insurance?
    • You will pay for your meds the usual way you always do. You don’t necessarily NEED insurance but you CAN use your insurance if you have any.
  • Who delivers my medication?
    • Our partner pharmacy delivers your medication with their trusted couriers. This way you’ll know you will receive your meds fast and safely.
  • How long does it take for me to get my meds?
    • Once you place your order, your pharmacist will let you know a time frame to receive your meds, usually under an hour. Our pharmacies ensure your meds are delivered as quickly as possible right to your door.
  • Can I purchase medication for family members or as a caretaker?
    • Yes, all you have to do is to put the recipient’s name on the form when you are placing your order. Our pharmacist then processes the order and schedules it for delivery to your address of choice.
  • How do I get a new prescription on MedsNow?
    • When you go into our website, you will be able to register and submit your order in the same process. (No need to do things twice!) All you have to do is mention where your current prescription is at the moment and your pharmacist will take care of transferring it to their facilities for processing.  
  • Can I send a handwritten prescription?
    • Unfortunately no. We are based in NY and operating in Manhattan at the time being where the law does not permit the use of handwritten prescriptions. If you are at another state which does allow it, please write us a note and we will keep you in mind when we expand!
